Dear PS 107 Families,
Today, two more positive cases of COVID were reported to me. Both individuals testing positive were last in the school building on Friday, 3/11.
All families whose children who shared space with these individuals were notified directly by me via email (NOT Konstella) today and will be sent home with at-home test kits. These cases did not involve exposure to the after-school community.
As a reminder:
- Per DOE guidance, we strongly recommend that students who are in close contact with an individual testing positive wear a well-fitting mask through Day 10 following exposure.
- Students who are not fully vaccinated and are exposed outside of school must still quarantine following exposure. If your child is in this category, please reach out to Pamela Rosenberg to determine the length of your child's quarantine.
- If students have symptoms of COVID, they may not attend school and must get tested for COVID, either with an at-home test or a lab test. Please review the Health Screening Questionnaire for specific details about testing if your child has COVID symptoms.
- Please continue to report all positive COVID tests to me and to Pamela Rosenberg.
Many thanks for your support as we navigate this latest uptick in cases. I will continue to send out notifications about positive cases that we learn about within a 24 hour period.
