Last chance to pre-order books! Books on sale at Spring Fling and First Friday
"One Special Parrot: The Story of Calixte" by the P.S. 107 fifth grade is about an endangered African gray parrot, who was rescued and rehabilitated at a sanctuary in the Congo. There, Calixte lives with other parrots and looks forward to the day when he’s healthy enough to soar free again. Read all about his incredible journey, which was written and illustrated by our talented fifth graders with input from the Wildlife Conservation Society.

Pre-order via this LINK for $10 by May 30th.  Pre-ordered books will be distributed by June 1 to your child’s classroom.
Or, buy your copy at Spring Fling — where fifth graders may autograph it!
Books will be also sold during First Friday, as well as after school, on June 1.

The year-long project was a collaboration between P.S. 107’s Beast Relief committee and the Wildlife Conservation Society. All proceeds will go directly to the Wildlife Conservation Society African gray parrot rescue and rehab program.
