Wed, Nov 26 7:28pm

Our Fall Into Giving Food Drive competition just wrapped up its final week, and you didn't just meet the goal—you shattered it! Over the last three weeks, we collected a mind-blowing 5,405 items!

Your generosity directly translated to:

  • 157 weekend food bags for PS 124
  • 50+ bags for CHiPS

Thank you, thank you, thank you! The community's response was nothing short of amazing.

Volunteer Heroes

We want to give a huge round of applause to all of our dedicated volunteers:

  • Our Student Volunteers: You are the real rock stars! The effort you put into collecting the items in the classrooms and moving them to the basement hallway was crucial to the success of this drive and the impact it had on the community. Your work is incredibly important!
  • CHiPS Table (Parent Volunteers): Francesca Furian, Scott and Stephanie Jehl, Ella Sherifova, Margaux Turchiano, and Bora Lee.
  • PS 124 Packing (Parent Volunteers): Gemma Niblett, Ayça Aksu, Bobbie Edwards, Tyghe Trimble, Jenny Bogo, Elaine Mui, Abby Tabak, Kate Segal, and Danny Fried.
  • Last-Minute Lifesavers (Parent Volunteers): Rachel Shen, Steven Ma, and Lindy Almony!

Pizza Party Class Winners!

Congratulations to the top three classes who brought in the most items and earned a well-deserved pizza party:

  1. K-108 (671 items) - Top honors!
  2. 2-203 (576 items)
  3. PK-107 (557 items)

We are incredibly proud of every student's contribution. Enjoy a wonderful and relaxing Thanksgiving break with your loved ones!

The Fight Continues!

Remember, our commitment to supporting CHiPS continues. We will still be collecting donations every Wednesday morning during drop off.

Please stay tuned for more opportunities to engage in impactful Aid & Action throughout the year!

With gratitude (lots of it),
Your Aid & Action Committee
