Hello PS107 Community,
Valentine's Day is one month away!
To simplify the holiday for parents and make it greener, the 5th Grade Committee proposes a new tradition: instead of buying candy or trinkets, we're asking you to please donate that money to the 5th-grade class fund. We’ll create candy bags with uplifting messages for each student, to be distributed by the 5th graders on Friday, February 13th. All bags will be nut-free, and we will have bags that accommodate gluten and dairy allergies.
We hope that this can become a new tradition for the school, saving parents time and reducing waste. Kids are still welcome to make or bring paper valentines if they wish. Donations are voluntary and any amount is appreciated. A suggested amount would be around $5 to $20. We ask that you please donate by January 30th.
