🚀 Kick-off Monday! Fall into Giving Food Drive & New Weekend Food Bag Goal
Sun, Nov 9 2:16pm

Just a reminder that our Fall into Giving Food Drive competition starts this Monday, 11/9!

We're excited to announce that we are adding a crucial new goal to our collection efforts: providing weekend food bags for PS 124 families who have reached out for assistance.

🎯 Where Your Donations Go

The food you collect will now support three vital community efforts:

  • Maintaining our regular weekly commitment to CHiPS.
  • Stocking the shelves for our new 107 food pantry.
  • Providing the requested weekend food bags for PS 124 families.

🎒 CHiPS Weekly Collection & Competition Credit

Students can still earn class credit for the pizza party competition by donating at the CHiPS collection table on Wednesday mornings!

To ensure accurate tracking for the competition, please prepare and share the following details with the CHiPS crew when dropping off items:

  • Student Name
  • Classroom Number
  • Total Number of Items Donated

🛒 High-Need Donation List

Please focus on bringing in these shelf-stable items needed most by our families:

  • Shelf-stable milk
  • Mac & Cheese
  • Rice (microwaveable or instant)
  • Canned vegetables, fruits, and beans
  • Pasta and Pasta Sauce
  • Canned soups and stews
  • Crackers
  • Peanut butter and jelly
  • Granola bars or other snacks
  • Cereal
  • Oatmeal packets
  • Ramen / Oodles of Noodles

We also need reusable bags! Please bring in any Fresh Direct bags or other reusable grocery bags to help us pack the weekend food kits.

Good Luck and Let's Make an Impact!

Remember, this competition is about much more than just winning; it's about making a real difference in our community! Every single item counts and directly supports a family in need, right here in our neighborhood.

Let's see which class can truly Fall into Giving the most! Good luck, everyone—let's make this our most successful food drive yet!
