🌟 New! School Chess Team 🌟

We are excited to announce that, for the first time, our afterschool program is offering a PS 107 School Chess Team in partnership with NYC Chess!

🎯 How It Works:

• ♘ Weekend Competitions with NYC Chess.

• Families choose which competitions to attend — no minimum required.

• ♖ Team Requirement: Enroll in Chess on both Wednesdays & Thursdays.

  • Thursdays: Competitive strategies & tournament prep.

  • Not interested in competition? Enroll in Wednesday only.

💰 Additional Fee & Memberships:

• $44 per child, paid directly to NYC Chess after school begins

• Covers enrollment in:

  • ♙ USCF (United States Chess Federation) — Official member ID to track progress online.

  • ♟ AAU Chess (Amateur Athletic Union) — National governing body for youth sports.
