1. These moves!

                    

The PTA pays for Together in Dance Residencies for PreK and Kindergarteners, African dance with Alvin Ailey for third graders, and ballroom dance with Dancing Classrooms for fourth graders. 

2. Teachers with Even More Talent!

The PTA pays for professional development for teachers, including math curriculum development, special-ed skills for all gen-ed teachers, responsive classroom approach, and the ADL's No Place for Hate program.

3. Creative Outlets!
First Graders have a music and movement residency with TADA, where creating stories, songs, and dances are all part of the fun! 

4. More teachers!

The PTA helps reduce teacher to student ratio in lower grades (when literacy and other foundational skills are still being developed!) by paying for additional teachers in large classrooms. 

5. Extra Hugs and High Fives from Ms. Sarah!

The PTA pays for additional days for our amazing guidance counselor Sarah Green so that she can see ALL children who might need help. 

6. Fish!

The PTA funds the legendary 4th Grade Trout in the Classroom Project. Trout in the Classroom provides year-long project based learning to support the science curriculum. 

7. Even. More. Science

 

The PTA is increasing spending so that kids in every grade can have project based learning and/or field work experiences in science and STEM. 

8. Sensational subs!

The PTA pays for amazing subs for classrooms when teachers go to professional development workshops.

9. Accident insurance! 

The PTA pays for clean underwear when kids have accidents. (No questions asked...)

10. Mini Brooklyn Bridges!

The PTA pays for the 2nd grade Art/STEM residency mash-up in which students will build their own model Brooklyn Bridge.
