10 positive cases of COVID reported today
Mon, May 9 8:08pm

Dear PS 107 Families,

While I haven't been sending daily whole-school updates for a little while, I did want to make everyone aware that we are experiencing an uptick in cases at PS 107 right now. Today, 10 positive cases of COVID were reported to me. These cases are primarily concentrated in one 2nd grade class, and I have reached out to the DOE's Situation Room to advise on next steps.

Masks are not currently required in school, but the DOE does strongly recommend them when a student or staff member is exposed to COVID. We have high-filtration masks at school for students. Please don't hesitate to reach out to me or to Pamela Rosenberg if you need some for your children.

I will continue to keep you informed during this current rise in cases. As always, please reach out with any questions.

Take good care,

Joanna
