THE 2023 PS 107 GALA AUCTION EVENT

DETAILS:
The Auction is THE event of the year. It is comprised of several parts:
1) THE SILENT AUCTION: The online silent auction will take place during the week leading up to the gala event. You do not have to attend the gala to bid on amazing auction items but you will need to sign in to the bidding website. Details about this will come soon. Some items already in the online catalog include: photography sessions, gift certificates to Winner, personal training packages at several studios, a Dungeons and Dragons 4-hour party, pickleball clinic package....and SO SO much more!
2) THE GALA: The event is your opportunity to dress up and mingle with other PS 107 families and teachers and staff during a 4-hour, open bar cocktail party! At the event you can expect a curated silent auction of items that will not be available during the online auction (above) as well as a remarkable LIVE AUCTION. You will have the chance to dance to the beats from a DJ, have delicious food, enjoy an open bar, and end the evening with the live band karaoke sensations, The Occasionalists. Yes, you can sing karaoke and/or watch others try!
3) THE LIVE AUCTION: This is the part where some truly remarkable experiences and items will be showcased. One live auction item generously donated by PSACC is an entire year of Park Slope after school program for one student (valued at $4800). Look for emails about other live auction items in the coming months.
3) TIME WITH TEACHER RAFFLES: These raffles will be an opportunity for the students to get involved with the auction. In late March/early April (TBD) there will be a week where your kids can purchase raffle tickets to win experiences with their teachers. Some of the experiences this year include: a karaoke party with Ms Shirley and Mr. Michael, a pizza and dance party with the first grade teachers, wildlife safari with Mr. Ed, and "principal for the day"!!
So what do you do now?

- Concert/sports tickets
- Do you bake? Offer to bake someone's cookie for an in-class birthday party.
- Ask your gym, personal trainer, favorite restaurant, real estate broker, neighbor or friend for a donation to our auction!!
Tickets will go on sale on March 1st. We do not expect the tickets to sell out on the first day, but there is a limit. If you plan to attend make sure you get your tickets sooner rather than later. Tickets will be $140 per person and will go up in price closer to April 28th. Look out for special package deals to sponsor a teacher to attend the gala event!
