It is already November, so the annual PS 107 Powerhouse Book Fair is coming soon!

The book fair is a great opportunity for our kids to explore the neighborhood bookstore, to choose books they will read with joy and pleasure, and to give back to PS 107.  Anytime you shop that week (Nov 14-19), 20% of sales will go to support the PS 107 PTA.  Get a jump start on your holiday shopping while supporting our school at the same time!  Just mention that you are participating in the PS 107 Book Fair.

Powerhouse will be generously hosting our classes for bookstore visits. However, parent chaperones will be needed to help bring each class from school to the bookstore and assist with purchasing. Chaperones should meet 10 minutes before their trip time in front of the main entrance to the school building and one of them will remain at the store at the end of the visit to help tidy it up. Please sign up to chaperone your child’s class here / below.  

Please note that PRE-K will NOT be making a class visit.  

Please send cash in a labeled envelope with your child to school on the day of their trip.  Remember all purchases will be charged sales tax.  If financial assistance is needed, please reach out to Nadia nbenlarbi2@schools.nyc.gov.
