Thanks to your generosity, we had an incredible December and finished at a similar percent to our 2024 goal. This year, though, our target is higher—so let’s keep the momentum going in January!

• If your employer offers a matching gifts benefit, securing a corporate match makes a significant difference.

What's the Annual Fund again?

The PTA raises approximately $500,000 each year, and this year, $225,000 of that will come from the Annual Fund.  The Annual Fund is the PTA’s appeal for direct gifts from PS 107 families, and the largest revenue source in our budget. This campaign is separate from fundraising events, which are also critical to our overall contributions to PS 107. Our Annual Fund directly supplements PS 107’s budget, covering chronic shortfalls in DOE funding.  Read more here about all that the PTA funds.

How much should I give?

Annual Fund donations this year have ranged from $25 to $10,000 (including corporate matching gifts). We hope that every family will make a gift that feels meaningful.  Our goal of $225,000 breaks down to roughly $415 per student. 

Meeting our Annual Fund goal sooner rather than later helps Ms. Joanna and the school leadership team in making plans for the months ahead. Thank you so much for your consideration, and for ALL of the ways this community shows up for all of our kids!
