COVID-19 Testing Van Outside PS107 Sunday, January 2nd 11:30-1:30
Wed, Dec 29 10:19am

We hope everyone is having a relaxing, healthy and wonderful vacation. We are very pleased to let you know that we will have a LabQ Covid testing van available on Sunday, January 2nd, from 11:30am-1:30pm, parked in front of school, to test PS107 families and staff. They estimate they can test 125 people. Big thank you to Laurie Tamis and Cailtin Gallagher for arranging this!

Please note that LabQ will be conducting both rapid antigen (we anticipate rapid results in 15 minutes) and PCR tests. Because PCR tests will not be back in time for the return to school on January 3rd, please consider getting your PCR test elsewhere if you have any reason to suspect Covid infection, whether due to exposure, travel, or any symptoms. Also, LabQ has experienced recent delays in turnaround time. We are hoping PCR results will be back within 2-3 days, but it may be up to 5 days.

The logistics:

  1. Please register directly with LabQ. You MUST be pre-registered in order to get tested. Walk-ups will not be accepted. Here is the link to register:

  1. Please also fill out this form so we know how many people to expect, understanding they can test up to 125 people. Please sign up each family member separately. We will let you know if your sign-up exceeds 125 people.

  1. Please consider getting tested elsewhere if you need a PCR to return to school. Again, PCR test turnaround times from LabQ are estimated 2-5 days.

  1. We need a few parent volunteers to monitor the line. Sign up message to follow.

Thanks and enjoy the rest of vacation!
