Care for your community with an Annual Fund donation
Fri, Nov 8 10:12am

Now is a great time to appreciate PS 107’s mission statement:

At PS 107, students are at the center of all that we do. Social and emotional well-being is the foundation on which our school community is built. Our teachers strive to meet the needs of diverse learners and know that every child can achieve success. We believe student inquiry drives rich learning, student agency creates change, and the community of students, staff, and families have the power to create a more equitable world.

Due to shortfalls in public funding, our school relies on PTA support in order to provide all of the programs, curricula, and teacher training critical to fulfilling this mission. We’ve raised 40% of our $210,000 goal. If you haven’t yet made your gift, please consider doing so this fall. Giving early allows PS 107 to better plan for the months ahead and meet needs as they arise.

Here's how to support:

  • Give online via Konstella
  • Write a check to “PS 107 PTA” and hand it to Ms. Nadia in the office
  • Make a gift of stock
  • If your employer offers a matching gifts benefit, corporate matches significantly help us meet our goal each year.
  • Send this public link to any non-Konstella users who might want to support your child's school (many small gifts from across your network add up in a big way)
  • Double your donation: We have an upcoming matching gift challenge Nov 18-22!

As a reminder, Annual Fund dollars directly supplement PS 107's operating budget. If 100% of PS 107 families make a meaningful donation (which typically ranges from $5-$5,000+ with a mean of $500 and a mode of $300) we'll meet our goal.

Your donations support important school needs and programs:

  • Art, music, and science teachers
  • Professional development for teachers
  • New curriculum materials (allowing PS 107 to lead the way in reading instruction!)
  • Arts residencies
  • Science enrichment programs
  • Technology platforms like Konstella and Operoo
  • Extra support in classrooms
  • Building improvements and repairs
  • Safety equipment for disaster preparedness
  • And more!

THANK YOU for ALL of the ways you all show up for all of our kids. This is an incredible community.
