June is LGBTQIA+ Pride Month! Please check out  the PTA DEI Committee's Pride Month newsletter for more information on the history of Pride, as well as books, events and resources!

In addition to Ms. Julie's Rainbow Takeover project in Art Class, PS 107 is continuing the PS 107 tradition of the Rainbow Chalkout on Monday, June 16th from 2:30-6:30pm (weather pending) where we cover the sidewalks outside PS 107 with messages and symbols of love, peace and acceptance. 

Parents and students are invited to grab some sidewalk chalk and participate in the festivities whenever you arrive for pickup that day. (Please note that this activity will be parent-led and not under the auspices of After School; students in After School should be checked out prior to participating.)

Lastly, check out DEI Committee's beautiful LGBTQIA+ Pride posters on front bulletin board, as well as the teacher and student "ally" posters around the school!
