Tuesday, March 19 at 6:30 p.m. - CEC15 Calendar Meeting.  Please join us as we discuss Curriculum and Assessment Based Learning in our district.  Representatives from the Department of Education will also present the Fair Student Funding.  And offer feedback on a CEC15 Resolution. Flyer is attached.

Wednesday, March 20, 7:00 – 8:30 pm, PS 321 Auditorium. Tired of fighting with your child? This one is for you! In this workshop for parents, strategic and tactical principles from Sun Tsu’s The Art of War are applied to parent-child interactions. Neil Weintraub, LSCW provides a new way of thinking about power struggles and the nature and ultimate goal of conflict. You will learn strategies for keeping control—not of your child, but of yourself. Tickets HERE. Open to the community, with free child care for school age children. $5 suggested donation. This month's workshop is aimed at supporting students with impairments who don't qualify for IEPS, but might be  entitled to individualized accommodations under a law called Section 504. See attached flyer for more info.

Saturday, March 30 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. - 35th Annual GreenThumb GrowTogether Conference.  Join NYC Parks GreenThumb as they celebrate their 35th annual GrowTogether and kicking-off the community gardening season in New York City!  The day will be packed with workshops on garden related topics and activities including a seed swap, kids' activities, vegetable growing techniques, and new lunchtime meetups and intensives.  This event will be free, but lunch will not be provided with the free ticket.  However, you can purchase bagged lunch from CUNY's caterer in advance and pick it up on site.  Lunch will not be sold on the day of the event.  Lunch includes a sandwich, salad, cookie and water. Vegan lunches will be available.  Space is limited.  Register by March 28.
