Community Outreach December update – Donations and Volunteers Needed!
Tue, Dec 6 7:42pm

Happy December everyone!

First, an overdue thank you to all who gave their time, resources, and energy to help make Thanksgiving a festive holiday across our neighborhood!  PS124 hosted a food giveaway including tables full of fresh produce made possible in part by donations from our fundraiser earlier this fall and direct support to their wishlist.  PS107 parents also worked with local businesses to put together harvest gift baskets to ensure nourishing food for all families in our community.

For all the bounty of this season, there is also immense on-going need.  There are so many great events going on this month and with support needed both in person and online.  We’ve got a recap here below with additional reminders and sign ups to come.

Please check out all that’s happening and bring the holiday spirit to get involved wherever you can!

District 15 Day of Action – Donation Drop Offs at PS107 this week!

As Ms. Joanna announced in her weekly message, this year all of District 15 is coming together to support those in need with a community-wide action. Each school is collecting donations this week, then gathering and sorting them centrally to be distributed in a culminating event on December 15th (open to all, plan to come! RSVP required)
