This year, our kids will keep moving with two periods of P.E. per week and an enhanced recess.   

What does the PTA fund that helps keep our kids moving?

• Additional P.E. Staffing.  The school was able to hire a second full-time PE teacher, giving every class two P.E. periods a week and providing teachers with valuable extra prep time.

• More recess equipment.  PTA funds soccer balls, hula hoops, basketballs, pickleballs, and more—items that wear out quickly and must be replaced often.

• Recess Coaching with Mindful Sports: Coach Sirr supports safe, inclusive play, contributing to a significant reduction in bullying and conflict during recess.

The PTA raises approximately $500,000 each year, and this year, $225,000 of this will come from the Annual Fund.  

We haven't yet met our ambitious $20,000 matching gift challenge, but we are getting there!  Gifts from the PS107 Community - INCLUDING SOME AMAZING GRANDPARENTS - totaled $13,577 since Giving Tuesday.
