GrowNYC has approved Ms. A's grant application for materials to help build out the school garden! As part of the grant, there will be a delivery of loose soil, mulch, and lumber, and they will only make the delivery if we've got volunteers ready to move the dirt into planters as soon as it arrives. We'll needs as many people and shovels as we can get to clear the area so that kindergarten dismissal can happen as usual that afternoon.

Our delivery window has been confirmed for THIS WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 11TH, from 11am-12pm.

If you can't make it, but have a shovel you can lend to the effort, bring it to the garden anytime before 11am and leave it near the shed (towards the back left of the garden area), and pick it up anytime after 12:30pm.
