Getting creative with monthly giving + UPCOMING MATCHING GIFT CHALLENGE!
Wed, Sep 11 11:56pm

As you think about making your gift to PS 107’s Annual Fund this year, here are a few questions (and an exciting announcement) to consider:

How much should I give? Our goal of $210,000 amounts to roughly $400 donated per student. Gifts range from five dollars to well over $5,000. Please make a gift that is meaningful for your family.

This is a community effort, and every single donation counts toward our goal.

Is monthly giving right for me? Many families find that monthly giving is a great way to manage and maximize their support of the Annual Fund. Setting up an automatic monthly donation is easy through Konstella.

Some ways to think creatively about monthly giving:

  • Working from home? Donate the amount of your daily subway/bus fare!
  • Give the cost of a weekly coffee from your favorite local spot.
  • Think of your Annual Fund donation as another substack or media subscription - with bonus benefits for your children!
  • Give a monthly multiple of 107: $10.70, $107, $214, etc.

When should I give? Giving early helps ensure that the PTA can support our school when needs arise throughout the year.  And, we’ve buried the lede:

DURING THE WEEK OF SEPTEMBER 23, TWO PS 107 FAMILIES  HAVE TEAMED UP TO MATCH ALL DONATIONS, DOLLAR FOR DOLLAR, UNTIL WE REACH $10,000!

Thank you so much to our generous anonymous matching gift donors! And thank you to everyone in our school community for all of the ways you show up.
