Want to start a book club? We're currently piloting a 2nd grade book club and looking for volunteers who'd like to become a lead for other grades. Each club will meet once a month on a Tuesday morning at school before school starts. As lead, you'd be in charge of selecting the book of the month and leading a grade-appropriate discussion (or maybe just leading a story hour for the youngest grades). Like Math Magic, this will be a chance for parents and students to get in on the action (not a drop-off event).
