Sanitation Station on Saturday!

Councilmember Shahana Hanif and the Old Stone House are hosting a Sanitation Station on May 20th at 4th street Plaza from 9am - 1pm. There will be e-waste collection, recycling info, a Touch a Truck, Wormbin Demonstration, and a compost giveaway. See flyer below and spread the word! 

Reminder for Recycling for $$$ May 24-25!  Save your hard-to-recycle items and bring them to school.  See flier below.   

Reducing and Recycling Progress!

• We launched use of water stations (to reduce single use plastic bottles) at events.  These were a hit at Movie Night and Art Day -- Please bring your water bottles to events and refill them.
• Thank you to the Art Day committee for running so many amazing projects from reused materials.
• Recycling has re-launched in the school and is making a come-back at PS107 events.  Please help us by sorting.

Finally, congratulations to Ms. Amber’s class for taking the most trash walks during our month of park clean-ups. They have won a pizza party!  Thanks to all the PS107 classes that took these 20+ walks in April/May.
