Dear PS107 Families,
Each year as the New Year approaches, I like to reflect on the past year and the successes and challenges it has brought. It’s an understatement to say this year has posed many formidable challenges to most of us, personally and professionally. To think that a year ago at this time, coronavirus was not even part of our vernacular. How things can change in a year!
Despite the challenges and uncertainties we’ve all endured this year, one thing remains constant: your commitment to preserving the PS107 we know and love. Whether remote or in-person, your support has helped our teachers continue to create a joyful and rich learning environment for our kids, even under these difficult circumstances. To see a child’s excitement about sharing something new she has learned is one of the richest rewards we could hope for. And, pandemic or not, that still happens every day.
Thank you for being our invaluable partners and understanding how important this work is. You have helped brighten this holiday season for all of us. I’m so grateful to you for that.
Wishing you a warm and joyful holiday.
