Dear PS107 Families,

Happy New Year and welcome back!  I hope your transition back to work went as smoothly as the transition back to school seemed to go for your children.   (I hope I'm not jinxing us by saying that!)  Yesterday was a lovely, calm day in school and such a nice way to begin the new year together.

I also hope you had quality time to relax and unwind with family and friends over the holidays.  We all needed a breather, no doubt about that.   And here we are already... 2019!   Goodness, how did that happen?!  Let's all hope for wonderful things on the horizon.

Tomorrow morning is our First Friday of 2019.  I hope you can come for all or part of first period in your child's classroom.  While you're here, or any other time, please take a look at our impressive collection of children's jackets, water bottles and assorted accessories in the Lost and Found bins.  We'd love to return them to their owners!

You may have noticed that the old building scaffolding in front is still in place and there's no evidence that new scaffolding is waiting to replace it.  There has been an unforeseen delay in the project but I haven't received any information explaining the circumstances.  I will update you as soon as I know more.

I look forward to seeing you tomorrow morning.

Sincerely,

Eve
