IMPORTANT: Send in your child's DOE-issued devices for inventory process tomorrow/Wednesday

Dear PS 107 Families, 
The DOE's Division of Instructional and Information Technology (DIIT) is scanning and inventorying all devices used by all DOE schools.  This week, we have a team of DIIT staff stationed in our conference room at school, and they need to scan the barcode on every DOE-issued device used by our community. They have been working on the devices in our school building, and now they need to inventory all of the devices that are being used at home by students. 
To that end, if your child has a DOE-issued iPad or Chromebook at home, please bring it to school tomorrow, Tuesday, 11/29 or  Wednesday, 11/30. Our technology lead, Ms Marybeth, will be stationed at a table on 8th Avenue near the main entrance of PS 107 where you can drop off your child's device. Please label the device with your child's name and classroom (we will have post-its available if you forget) so that we can easily return the device to your child.
If the device is broken, that's no problem — just let Marybeth know when you drop it off, and we can open a ticket for free repair.  Once the device has been scanned for the inventory project, we will send it back home with your child.
