In-Person Learning Resumes 12/7
Sun, Nov 29 6:48pm

Dear PS107 Families,

You have no doubt already heard that in-person learning will resume again next Monday December 7th.  A letter from the Chancellor with this information is attached to this email.

Today the Mayor suggested that schools would reopen 5 days/week for all students. There has been a lot of confusion about this for principals, as it would mean eliminating social distancing requirements in order to accommodate all in-person students at the same time. We don't think that was the intention but there has been no further information shared with us.  At this time and until further details are revealed, we plan to remain in our hybrid A/B model when school resumes on Monday December 7th.  Students who are new to blended learning will also return on that date.

However, please note that ALL students and staff who return on December 7th must have a completed Consent to Test form on record.  Starting on 12/7, random testing will be conducted at all schools on a weekly basis. The Consent form can be found on Operoo. Please contact Pamela if you have any questions about the form.

I hope you had a lovely Thanksgiving and were able to enjoy the company of those loved ones who were near.
