Case in point: Arts residencies build confidence, encourage collaboration and teamwork, and nurture creativity among our kids. PreK (BAX) and 5th grade (Freestyle Repertory Theatre) students have already presented their culminating arts residency performances; 2nd, 3rd (Alvin Ailey) and 4th (National Dance Institute) graders are still preparing for their big moments to shine on stage. In addition, kindergarten and 1st graders completed a robust science residency with Tiny Scientist to hone their exploration, inquiry, and discovery skills.
