It's time to VOTE to help PS 107 transform the Big Yard!
Sat, Apr 2 9:35am

Dear PS 107 Families,

It's Participatory Budgeting (PB) Vote Week and PS 107 has a project on the PB ballot that will help us to transform the Big Yard into a beautiful space that the entire school community can enjoy! All residents of City Council District 39 who are 11 or older can vote. See below for a link to the digital ballot OR come to the PB Expo tomorrow, Sunday, from 3 to 5 pm, at the Park Slope Armory YMCA, where you can learn more about our project (and vote there). Encourage all of your friends and family who live in District 39 to vote for our project as well!

See below for all of the details on voting, as well as the other projects that are in the running.

Thank you for supporting our efforts to transform the Big Yard!

Warmly,

Ms Joanna

Make your voice heard! If you are a resident of District 39 (check your city council district here), you can vote on how to spend $1.5 million on projects to improve our community. Everyone age 11 and up can vote, regardless of citizenship or voter registration status. This initiative is called Participatory Budgeting. It gives real people a real say in how our money is spent. It is one way we can envision a just budget.

Voting: You can vote with the digital ballot here from April 2nd until April 10th. If you are under the age of 14 you must use a paper ballot!

Events: Sign up to come to the PB Expo on April, 3rd at 3pm at the Park Slope Armory YMCA (a science fair about all the projects + voting site) and other in-person voting events with music and dance here.

Voting Sites: There will be pop-ups around the district, or you can come to CM Hanif’s Office 456 5th avenue anytime from 10-4pm
