Thank you to everyone who took part in our first-ever Summer Math-A-Thon. We raised $3,325, and about 100 students participated with ⅔ answering 100+ problems. The average number of problems solved was 238 with our top mathlete solving 1,450 problems!
We are excited to announce that both the 3rd graders and the Kindergartners earned an ice cream party to kick off the school year, thanks to their amazing achievement of collectively solving 5,000 math problems.
More details to follow on that, but here are a few of the mathletes that really excelled in the second week of the event:
K: Celia H, Chloe D, Wilder G
1: Adam E, Ezra H, Pau M
2: Emmy B, Evelyn E, Nicholas F
3: David V, Olivia V, Vivienne M
4: Frankie T, Kaiba F, Kanoa F
5: Finn B, Hazel B, Luke H
Now that our first math-a-thon is in the books, your feedback will be critical to determine whether we should host the event again and, if so, what changes we should make to improve it. If you have 3 minutes to spare, can you please fill out this short survey?
