Please see below for some important information.

 

-CEC 15 Calendar Meeting: Tues, Mar 28th at 6:30pm

-Assemblymember Robert Carroll’s annual Spring Clean and Green event is at 10am to 2pm, April 30th in Prospect Park at the entrance near Machate/Park Circle (across from TD Bank)!  We’ll have electronic recycling, paper shredding, textile recycling, kid's stop n' swap, and more. There are also giveaways, special services, information and demonstrations, to help you have a greener and cleaner Spring 2023.

-The PEP application is up on the DOE website. Parents are encouraged to apply. Candidates can submit their applications to PEPParentApplications@schools.nyc.gov by April 15,2023.   Please see the attached flyer for more details.

 

-The Office of Council Member Hanif has kicked off another Participatory Budgeting Vote that ends on April 20th. This year was a unique Climate Justice themed PB cycle. The projects on the ballot are neighborhood solutions to improve parks and open streets, provide environmental education, support food access, and promote a circular economy. Vote Week is from March 25th to April 2nd,and everyone who lives in or goes to school in District 39 over the age of 11 is eligible to vote for the projects they want to be funded.

 

-The School Survey Deadline has been extended until April 20th! Please click here to complete the school survey.

 

-Summer Rising enrollment will begin on April 17th and run until May 1st.  Stay tuned for more information as I receive it!
