Hey Track!

WOW – WHAT A MEET!!  Congrats to all our track kids who came to the Armory on Friday and ran so well – we are so proud of you!!  And a very special shout out to our amazing track parents and grandparents, thank you for cheering on the kids.  And for all of you adults and alumni who went the extra mile and helped us run the event a really huge, extra THANK YOU!  We literally could not have done it without you:D

Next stop – THE PS 107 SHAMROCK RUN 5K!!!

SATURDAY, MARCH 11TH - PS 107 Shamrock Run 5K - 2:00PM in Prospect Park. A fundraiser for the PS107 Afterschool Program with a special appearance by the PS 107 Cheer Squad.

OPEN TO ALL track team members and parents, grandparents, siblings and friends.  This is a great PS 107 run just like the Reindeer Run with awesome themed prizes for top 3 boys+ and girls+ in grades PreK-8 and top male+ and female+ adults plus an extra special prize and bragging rights for first over the line.  If you have not yet signed up do so TODAY!

Also we are looking for volunteers for the race – check-in, timer, finish line, prizes etc. so please email maryvines365@gmail.com if you would like to volunteer and if there are any middle or high school students who want to volunteer, you will get 4 hours of community service!

If your child ran in the meet or will run in the Shamrock 5K and it is their first tack event, they will qualify for a TRACK JACKET!!  If your child earns their jacket we would love to give it to them before the parade so please email maryvines365@gmail.com so we can hand them out.  After your child receives their jacket, we will send you a link for payment.

SUNDAY, MARCH 19TH St. Patrick's Day Parade - 12:30 pm meet on PPW and 10th St. The PS107 Track Team will once again be marching in the Park Slope St. Patrick's Day Parade with special addition the PS 107 Cheer Squad. Open to all PS 107 Track Team and Cheer Squad members (and parents can march, too).  Remember to wear your PS 107 Track Jackets and once again we will be throwing green beads to our fans and everyone will get a chance to march with the banner!

SATURDAY, APRIL 1ST – Autism Speaks 5K – 10am Prospect Park. This is a great 5K in our backyard for an amazing organization. Cost is $35 (price goes up in March) for adults and $20 for kids. Be sure to join “The PS 107 Track Team” when registering.

OPEN TO ALL including parents, siblings and friends.

Together we will try to raise $1,000 for autism.
