The PS 124 Mutual Aid Group is excited to announce our next seasonal clothing and housewares swap!
Why We Gather
As a mutual aid group, we believe these events thrive when everyone pitches in—not just by donating, but by helping to sort, organize, and build community together. Please avoid bringing large, unsorted bags of items.
With the challenges many community members are facing we want this event to be a space where neighbors feel safe, welcome, and connected. So bring your kids, snacks, bubbles, and come spend time together!
What to Expect
- Donations will be accepted the day of the event at PS 124.
- If you bring items, please plan to stay and help sort—even if only for a short while.
- Volunteers are needed throughout the day for setup, sorting, and cleanup.
- Families are encouraged to bring snacks to share with kids.
- Coffee, donuts, breakfast sandwiches for all volunteers!
