Green Committee October updates

Give us your tired, poor used plastic! 


At this year's Fall Festival, children can help create art with an important message. 
To help us, please collect your small, washed, plastic trash and bring it to the Green Committee.
Think bottle and pen caps, bread bag clips, broken plastic tchotchkes, cutlery. 
We'll be collecting your plastic on Wednesday 8, 15 and 22 at morning drop-off near the CHiPS table outside the main entrance.

Join us for our first park litter cleanup of this school year on Sunday, October 19th at 9:00am.

Halloween Plea! 🎃
We challenge you to try a low/no plastic Halloween!
If you are sharing treats: Try to include candy in recyclable or degradable packaging (paper-boxed Nerds, foil wrapped chocolate).
Please do not send trinkets like ring pops, plastic spider rings, etc. 
If your class is having a party, make use of our guidance to help reduce waste and model sustainable choices for our children.
