Today is the day many of us have been waiting for! Class assignments are trickling out and what better way to start the year than with an ice cream party. Thanks to all your participation and hard work in our first ever Math-A-Thon, it is now within reach.
Our first ever Summer Math-A-Thon ends this Friday and to earn that coveted ice cream party, all your grade needs to do is solve 5,000 problems. The kindergartners have amazingly pushed their way to the top, answering 3,400 problems (almost 2,000 since Friday!). The 3rd graders are maintaining their blistering pace with 3,200. The 1st graders have crossed the halfway point with 2,500. And the 2nd, 4th, and 5th graders are hovering around 2,000 and will need a strong push to get them over the top.

Did your student fill out math worksheets? Now is the time to record those answers
Do you want some mathematical analysis of the performance of our students? We got you. The mean number of problems solved per day is 1,729 with a standard deviation of 571 (don’t worry, 5th graders- that isn’t until 6th grade).
