We’ve passed the halfway point of our Read-A-Thon, and it doesn’t look like anyone is slowing down! There are now 340 students participating, 125,000 minutes have been read, and we’ve pushed the amount we’ve raised to nearly $9,000!
Many classes have already earned their Goodiez rewards (which we’ll hand out after the event), but, amazingly, every class in the school has reached at least 50% of their collective reading goal—and that’s not even counting those recording their time on paper logs! Your class needs your help to reach its goal, so keep reading and logging your time.
Even if your class has already earned its ice cream, there are still two more “Reading Hero” awards to give out. The next “Reading Hero” will be the student who reads the most from last Thursday through the end of Wednesday, and the final award will go to the student who reads the most from this Thursday until the Read-A-Thon ends on Tuesday, March 18th.
It’s never too late to sign up! If you’re tracking time on paper logs, hold onto them—we’ll collect them at the end. The same goes for any cash donations.
