To coincide with the Read-A-Thon, the PTA DEI Committee put together a special BINGO card to encourage students to meet characters who are different than themselves. Students who fill out their BINGO card can trade it in on March 21st at drop-off for a cool pencil case!

Check out (and print out) the attached packet which includes the Bingo Card, Activity Sheet, as well as our list of books featuring characters who are fighting for a better future! The Bingo card should also be in you student's backpack this week.

The PTA DEI Committee has also created a DEI Booklist spreadsheet to help families find children's books that feature diverse identities, cultures and perspectives. It's a living, growing list that you can use for the Read-A-Thon and beyond!
