Reporting back: Supporting School for Next Year
Wed, May 20 11:19pm

PS 107 Families,

We hope that this finds you well.

Thank you very much to those of you who responded to our message last week about supporting our school, especially in light of anticipated Department of Education budgets cuts next year.

We understand that our community wants to help however they can, and if your family is in a position to make a gift to the PS 107 Annual Fund, we hope that you will give today

In this difficult time, we understand that some families are not in a position to make a donation

What we raise now will determine what our community can do to set up the school as well as possible for next year. Our gifts directly affect our children’s education. We aim to fund:

  • Extra days for our guidance counselor in this traumatic time
  • Mitigating large class sizes
  • Visual arts and music
  • Teachers’ professional development

Your gift of any size makes a difference - whatever is right for your family, whether what you would have spent on baked goods at the Spring Fling ($5-$10), the amount of the average Annual Fund gift so far (roughly $500), or the cost of a big-ticket auction item ($2,000).

We would love to have 100% participation from families. So far this school year, over 295 children’s families have given a total of almost $178,000 towards our goal of $250,000. Thank you so much to everyone who has given so far!

There’s still a ways to go, especially in light of a decreased budget next year, so please give as generously as you can now to create the best possible year for our children.

We are PS 107!

Thank you,

PS 107 PTA Board

P.S. Please give via Konstella here. Thank you!
