Dear PS107 Families,
As we prepare to say farewell to the 2019-20 school year, I want to thank you for the many ways you have supported our community - teachers and staff, children, each other, and me personally, throughout the year. This has been especially true during the transition to remote learning and our recent spotlight in the media. It was not an easy spring but we rallied and worked together. We are about to cross the finish line with what I think is a shared sense of accomplishment that difficult circumstances can often amplify. We are an amazing community!
I am so proud of your children for the remarkable resilience they have shown. While distance learning kept us separated physically, we strived hard to maintain our classroom communities virtually. Without you, we could not have done that.
No matter what, we are partners in this journey. We will make it through this time of uncertainty together, joined by our desire to do right by our children.
On behalf of the entire PS107 staff, I want to wish our 5th grade families, and those of you who are not returning in the fall, good luck at your new schools. You will be missed!
Have a wonderful summer. Please stay safe and healthy.
