Thank you for making STEM Day a success!
Mon, Mar 16 12:23pm

Thank you to everyone in our 107 community who showed up for STEM day Saturday!

Students spent the afternoon building robots, studying the environment and alternative energy, making fossils, and engaging in hands-on activities in coding, astronomy, engineering, and more.

A special thank you to the event organizers, Ligia Mathias, Katie Shima, Lindsay Robinson, and Jake Robinson: there would be no STEM day without you! We are grateful to everyone who organized and ran activities, helped with setup and cleanup, and sold pizza and drinks throughout the event. A special shout out to Matt Schneider for being our resident astronomer and leading one STARLAB exhibit after another all afternoon!

Finally, thank you to the school administration for supporting this wonderful program, and to Custodian Frankie and Safety Agent Sharon for their help behind the scenes.
