As many of you may have heard, due to budget constraints, there won't be a STEM/Computer Science teacher/Tech Contact next year 2020-2021 at PS 107. Right now, I am slotted to return to the classroom. As always, I will assist in any way that is needed to keep PS 107 running.
Thank you so very much for quickly getting me the information needed regarding your child's DOE email account.
For those of you who already set up the accounts, please send me the username to update the PS 107 internal spreadsheets.
The DOE is moving ps107.org over to a DOE platform, and your child will now have the same email address through 12th grade.
I have truly enjoyed the last three years in this role and love hearing stories about how much your kids love my class, enjoy coding, and have made strides in technology interest and use.
Please note that during the summer, we will be turning off some functions of the PS107 GSuite such as Google Meet, Google Chat, and student email access.
If you borrowed a PS 107 device, please expect a call from me to discuss it. If there is any in-person/in-school learning component for September, we will need the devices back so we can equip as many of the upper-grade classes with 1:1 devices in school since there will be no sharing of technology due to COVID.
Please make sure you have requested an iPad from the DOE if you need this summer or for September Remote Learning.
www.schools.nyc.gov has a ton of information and resources for you to check out over the summer.
Thank you everyone for supporting me in this Technology Role, have a great summer and congratulations Graduates.
