PARENT WORKSHOP: REFRAMING AND BUILDING CONFIDENCE

As parents, we want our children to grow up to be confident. But what does that mean and how do we do it?  We are hearing so many conflicting messages regarding praise and reassurance. In this parent workshop with Dr. Erica Miller, a licensed clinical psychologist, participants will become equipped with a new framework and explicit strategies to help kids build confidence from the inside out. *RSVP here for this workshop on 2/28 at 8:45am in person at 107.

READ-A-THON BEGINS

The PS 107 Read-A-Thon kicks off this Friday, February 28th, with a Pajama Day and Drop Everything And Read announcements over the loudspeakers. This year, each class will work together to achieve a collective reading goal. If a class reaches its goal, every student (and teacher) in that class will win a free ice cream from Goodiez on 7th Avenue and 4th Street! Look out for more details this week.
