DEI COMMITTEE MEETING

Interested in helping make PS 107 an inclusive place where diversity is celebrated and equity is strived for?  All are invited to join the first Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Committee meeting of the year on Tuesday, October 1st @ 8:30pm on Google Meet (link here). If you are unable to make the first meeting, but still want to join the committee, please sign up here so we can keep you updated on future meetings. 

MATH MAGIC

Everyone’s favorite mathemagical pregame is back!  Starting October 2nd, please join us in the 4th floor art room on Wednesday mornings from 7:30-8:20am for games, puzzles, worksheets, doughnuts, and Pi. Students of all ages and proficiencies are welcome.  Kindergarten and first graders should bring their parents, all other parents are invited, too! 

CHiPs FOOD DRIVE

Community Outreach will collect the following food donations (please label all prepared items):

• Sandwiches - All Kinds (Ham/Cheese, Turkey/Cheese, Egg Salad, PBJ) 
• Sliced Bread Packages
• Lunch Meat packages
• Eggs (fresh)
• Tortillas
• Prepared Meals (pasta, rice/beans, soup, pasta salad etc) Please pre-package in individual portions.
• Microwaveable Meals - Instant Ramen, Rice & Beans Packets
• Jelly Jars, Peanut Butter
• Cereal/Instant Oatmeal Packets
• Shelf Stable Milk & Juice Boxes
• Fruit cups
• Fresh Fruit (Oranges/Bananas, no apples please)
• Individually Wrapped Snacks (Nuts, Beef Sticks, Crackers, Bars/Cookies)
• To-go Containers & Sandwich Ziplock Baggies
• Plastic Utensils spoons/forks
• Fresh Direct Bags/Sturdy Bags

NETS TICKETS

Attention all basketball fans! Purchase your tickets by noon on Thursday, October 3rd to lock in the best price and reserve your spot in the group section for the PS 107 Nets game on November 3rd at 3:30pm. After the game, our group will have the awesome opportunity to play on the Barclay's Center court for a full hour!

Tickets can be purchased here and $10 from each ticket will support PS 107. If you need financial assistance to attend the game, please contact parent coordinator Nadia Benlarbi. Reach out to Rebecca, rcetta@gmail.com, with questions.
