Heritage Day is March 9th!

Heritage Day is an incredibly fun event, and gives you a chance to not only showcase the country/state/city you're from, but show off your creativity as well.

So far we have rooms for Greece, China, Sweden, Italy, Ireland, and more! But we're still looking for Californians, Australians, New Yorkers  and more to host a room!

Share traditions!

Play music!

Hand out samples of food!

It's up to you.

If you want to host a room, contact Ted McCagg at ted@ps107.org or Crystal DiMarco at crystalcd@gmail.com

This Friday: Pajama Day/ Read-A-Thon Kick-Off
To kick off our annual Read-A-Thon, and send us into our February Break on a high note, this Friday is Pajama Day! More info coming later this week!
Want To Help With The Auction?
Have a line on something for the auction? Experiences? Vacation homes? A Banksy? We are still looking for things to auction off at the PS 107 Auction on April 12th!
We're also looking for a bunch of folks to help solicit items from local businesses. If you can help, please email Michael Neithardt at michaelneithardt@gmail.com.
Lice Check Volunteers Needed
On Tuesday, February 26th, we'll be looking for a few volunteers (only three!) to help the professional lice company keep the students organized as they wait for their turn to be checked, and transport children down to the main office if needed.

Assemblyman Bobby Carroll's Education Forum

This Wednesday, Assembly member Carroll will provide an update on the State budget for education and Fiscal Equity, give and overview of his Dyslexia Funding Initiative and discuss issues including testing, diversity and Title I funding. All are welcome.

The event will take place at PS 230 Lower School, 425 McDonald Avenue (by the Church Ave F/G)

Doors open at 6:30pm

Please RSVP to 718-788-7221 or CarrollR@nyassembly.gov.

Have a great week!
