Pajama Drive This Week!

The 5th Grade class is running a Pajama Drive, starting Monday Feb 10th and ending on Pajama Day on Feb 14th.

We are working with the Pajama Program a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides new pajamas to children in need. Once we collect the donated pajamas they will connect us with a local center to donate the pajamas.

The pajamas need to be NEW and should be a new complete set with top and bottom. Children's sizes of all ages, infants to 18 years old, are welcome.

Please leave your donations in the boxes next to Officer Sharon's desk starting Monday morning.

If you have questions, please email Joanna Lumbang Dowding  or Emily Hager or Adrianna Dufay.

Read-A-Thon + Pajama Day THIS FRIDAY!

While we're talking PJs, just a reminder that we're kicking off this year's Read-A-Thon with a school-wide Pajama Day on Friday! More Read-A-Thon info coming this week!

STEM DAY is March 7th!
STEM Day at PS 107 will take place on March 7, from 12 to 3pm. The theme is...

The world around us is full of invisible codes. From mathematics to physics to biology to computer technology, these unseen codes give order to our world, and even make us who we are.

This year, STEM Day will explore the secrets of the universe. What is DNA? What makes Pi so special? Why do planets revolve around their suns? How does gravity work? What’s a computer language?

Through hands-on workshops, kids will explore these questions, and many more, and together we will Crack the Code of the Universe!

We are putting together an exciting afternoon of STEM - but none of it happens without volunteers like you!
Do you have an idea for a workshop you’d like to lead? Please get in touch with us as soon as possible.

Want to be a workshop volunteer (you'll help the workshop leaders)?

We also need help with clean-up, set-up, the STEAM Cafe, and donations of baked goods and drinks. There's plenty to do! No lab skills needed!

Too busy, but you'd like to donate $ or supplies? Reach out to us!

We will be releasing the full list of workshops in a few weeks, along with the Konstella sign-up sheet. Stay tuned!
