Updates:

You want gear? We got gear!

Just in time for the holidays, stock up on PS 107 Gear in the new PS 107 Gear shop! All new designs (two of which you see here), along with old classics (including gym and field trip shirts) will be available to order starting this Tuesday until November 27th, with orders delivered by December 19th. Look for a flier with all the information in your child's folder on Tuesday!

An All New Book Fair! (with actual books!)

After years of watching kids use their Book Fair money on scented erasers and plastic combs, we've decided to take our business local to an actual bookstore! This year, the PS 107 Book Fair will partner with our neighbors at Powerhouse on 8th! Classes will take trips to the store from Wednesday Nov 28 to Thursday Dec 6th, while parents/friends/grandparents can shop after school and on weekends through Dec 9 and mention PS 107 and 20% of the profits will come back to the PTA.! Stay tuned for volunteer sign-ups as we will need lots of help walking the classes to the store and helping the children select books and then put the bookstore back together again post-ransacking.

Volunteers and Performers Needed for Art Day!

Art Day is just around the corner (Saturday, December 8th) and we need lots of parent (and student) help to make it happen. Some jobs to consider:
  • Performers: Both parent and students can sign up to perform and show off their many talents. Dancers, magicians, singers, actors, mimes (only a few though) or any other talent!
  • Run a workshop: Or assist someone who is running a workshop. Need ideas? Some great workshops that have been a big hit are: cartooning, sewing, still life and portrait drawing, Gyotaku fish prints, mobiles, and anything else artsy you can think of!
  • Bake sale:Bake things! Or sell things others have baked!
  • Lots more!

Sign up here or contact Sarah Harlow with any questions!

Support The 5th Graders During Parent Teacher Conferences
