Buy a Tree! Support PS 107!

If you are planning to purchase a Christmas tree this holiday season, Foley Firs is donating $10 for every full size tree sold to our PTA. Just mention our school when you purchase your tree (very important!) and sign the school’s fundraiser list and our PTA will receive the donation.

Their tree stand is located on the corner of 8th Street and 8th Avenue in Park Slope. They offer free delivery and will gladly set the tree up, provided the tree stand is in place.

Foley Firs will contribute a personal donation if there are more than 55 participants that mention our school. This donation is 50% of our total amount raised and it will double to the full amount of funds raised if we reach over 110 participants!

Volunteers and Performers Needed for Art Day!

Art Day is just around the corner (Saturday, December 8th) and we need lots of parent (and student) help to make it happen so sign up today! Some jobs to consider:
  • Performers: Both parent and students can sign up to perform and show off their many talents. Dancers, magicians, singers, actors, mimes (only a few though) or any other talent!
  • Run a workshop: Or assist someone who is running a workshop. Need ideas? Some great workshops that have been a big hit are: cartooning, sewing, still life and portrait drawing, Gyotaku fish prints, mobiles, and anything else artsy you can think of!
  • Bake sale:Bake things! Or sell things others have baked!
  • Lots more!

Sign up here or contact Sarah Harlow with any questions!

Have a great Thanksgiving!
