Diversity Committee Meetings This Week
The Diversity Committee will be kicking off the year this week with a meeting on Tuesday at 3 pm at PS 107.
The Diversity Committee promotes greater awareness of and respect for diversity within our school community. Made up of parents, administrators, and staff and reporting to the School Leadership Team (SLT), our committee is dedicated to fostering a culture of inclusion through schoolwide events and activities.
Feel free to contact Stephanie Hochman at firstname.lastname@example.org for questions or simply show up on Tuesday afternoon! Plus, if you can't make it Tuesday at 3, there will be a follow-up mini-meeting the next morning, Wednesday, at 8:30 am.

Introductory French Lessons
PS 107 students can now enroll in introductory level French class via the non-profit organization, EFNY. EFNY works with the DOE to run dual language and enrichment programs across the city.
If we are able to get enough students, the classes will be held Fridays 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm, at the cost of $595 for 17 classes.
There is space for up to 8 additional 3rd, 4th, or 5th grade students. Classes will be held at PS 321 located at 180 7th Ave as part of the Education en Français à New York program (EFNY.net). Parents can get general information about the program on their website, but the new
class is not yet listed.
To sign up or ask questions, please join our group on Konstella, or contact J.P. Therrien at email@example.com.
Thanks for coming to Family Movie Night!
Wow! What an amazing night! Thank you, Orson Robbins-Pianka and movie night committee! My Neighbor Totoro outside in the big yard was a super fun way to kick off the school year! About 100 families attended—and blew through 45 pizzas. Thank you to Fferins of Brooklyn for providing the candy. Looking forward to doing it again in the spring—we promise there will be more popcorn! And more pizza.
