The restored PS 107 spider sculpture is on exhibit in DUMBO — TOMORROW!
Wed, Jul 27 9:20am

Dear PS 107 Families,

I hope that you are having a wonderful summer! We have been working hard in the building, preparing for the coming school year. We are really looking forward to welcoming everyone back on September 8th. You will receive additional details about the start of the school year, including your child's class assignment, the week of August 22nd.

As you may know, this past spring, under the direction of artist Marney Fuller, many of your children worked on restoring the wire spider sculpture that has graced the side of the PS 107 building for many years. The restored sculpture is now completed and will be exhibited TOMORROW, Thursday, July 28th, from 2 to 8 pm, under the Manhattan Bridge in DUMBO. See the image below for details on viewing the sculpture. If you are available, stop by with your children so that they can see their work publicly exhibited! This fall, the completed sculpture, will be returned to the side of the PS 107 building. All of this would not be possible without the generous support of the parent community — thank you!

As always, please feel free to reach out to me via email at jcohen72@schools.nyc.gov or jcohen@ps107.org if you have any questions or would just like to say hello this summer.

Warmly,

Joanna Cohen
