Dear PS 107 Families,
I hope that you had an enjoyable week with your children, and that they (and you!) are ready for school to start up again tomorrow for the final stretch through the end of the year. It's hard to believe that summer is approaching! Here are a few updates/reminders for the coming week:
- AT-HOME COVID TESTING: Please be sure to administer the at-home COVID tests to your children before they return to school tomorrow. Negative tests do not need to be reported to us, but positive tests must be reported to me and Pamela Rosenberg (email@example.com).
- DID YOUR CHILD TEST POSITIVE OVER THE BREAK?: If so, and if you haven't already done so, please report these cases to me and Pamela Rosenberg. In particular, if your child tested positive on 4/20 or later, they cannot return to school tomorrow, 4/25. Please let Pamela and me know when they tested positive so that we can share the date they can return to school with you.
- SIGN UP FOR SUMMER RISING!: Enrollment for Summer Rising, the DOE's free summer academic and enrichment program, will begin tomorrow, Monday, April 25th. Please see the attached letter for details on how to enroll your child. You can also review the DOE's Summer Rising website for enrollment information.
- SUPPORT THE CHANGEMAKERS BAKE SALE THIS WEEK: Our after-school Changemakers Club is organizing a Bake Sale on Wednesday, 4/27 at 2:40 pm to support our neighbors at the Park Slope Women's Shelter at the Armory. Please stop by for a tasty treat that will also help our neighbors.
As always, please feel free to reach out with any questions. We are looking forward to welcoming your children back to school tomorrow morning!
