WINTER COAT DRIVE = FIRST WEEK OF DECEMBER

Bravo P.S. 107! We have great results from our UNICEF and Food Drives. The community raised $1137.59 for UNICEF during Halloween and you've donated hundreds of pounds of food to New York City's food pantries. Special thanks to everyone who helped organize both efforts.

And now, as you head off to Thanksgiving, here's a preview of our community service projects for December:

1. Search your closets (and your extended family's closets) for coats. We're running our annual winter coat drive. Children's and adults coats are needed. Please make sure they're clean and the zippers work. We're also looking for NEW children's hats and mittens. You can leave your donations in the boxes next to Officer Sharon's desk the first week of December. Please volunteer for a morning shift to help move the gear into storage. (See below.)

2. We'll be running a toy drive for kindergarteners who attend P.S. 169, our sister school. All toys will cost about $5, and we'll send additional information on how to purchase them. The toys are delivered at a special holiday party for the kids, so it's best that every child received the same toy.

If you have questions, please email Emily Hager (emilybhager@gmail.com) or Adrianna Dufay (dcnyadrianna@aol.com)

Happy Thanksgiving,
