Committee Updates:

Lost + Found
The Lost + Found is overflowing again! Items will be displayed outside on Tuesday—please look through the dozens of hats, gloves, sweaters, umbrellas, etc. and help to keep our school neat and tidy! Unclaimed items will be donated on Thursday.  As always, please, please label your jackets and water bottles! Photos of lost items can be viewed here on Konstella. If you have any questions, or can identify one of your lost items in the Konstella photo album, please contact Nancy Lin.

PTA Meeting This Week!
Spring is here and that means we’re returning to holding PTA monthly meetings in the evenings (with a mini-meeting the following morning). Due to the upcoming holiday, this month’s PTA meeting will be held this Wednesday from 6:30-8:00pm, featuring a special performance from our very talented 4th grade ballroom dancers! There is a lot happening at PS107 this spring, so please come to learn about what’s happening and how you can get involved. Pizza and childcare for school-age students will be available, and a Signup for bridge care from afterschool will be posted shortly on Konstella.

Parent Workshop: Parenting the i-Generation
Please join us Thursday morning for a special parent workshop on raising children in the digital age. Julia A.G. Storm, a digital media and families specialist, will explore parents' concerns about screen time, parental controls, empathetic and conscientious behavior, online safety, emotional resilience, and more. All families are welcome to attend! The workshop will begin immediately after a brief PTA mini-meeting recap at 8:30am.

School Diversity Advisory Town Hall
The District 15 Community Education Council invites you to attend a town hall to help shape the conversation on diversity in our school district.  Parents, principals, students, teachers, and advocates are all encouraged to attend and help inform the advisory group’s policy recommendations. The town hall will be held Tuesday evening at the Urban Assembly Institute of Math and Science at 238 Adams Street and food, childcare, and interpreters will be available. Please visit schools.nyc.gov/diversity for more information.
